Our car camera can help protect you on the roads, even if you’re involved in an accident. An accident is annoying when you’re going on holiday, especially if you’re not the one who caused it. If everything is dealt with in accordance with the regulations and if you agree with the other party about what happened, there shouldn’t be any problems: They only begin when the accounts of the accident differ. But how do you prove that your account is the right one? This is where the dashcam can back you up. If motion detection is activated, 1080i video recording starts as soon as the sensor in the camera detects a shock. Incidentally, this is also very practical in supermarket car parks should your car be bumped by a driver manoeuvring into or out of a parking space. Equipped with a 120-degree wide-angle lens, the dashcam captures a very wide area in front of the vehicle. It is therefore also suitable for use in larger vehicles, such as lorries or camper vans. Legal requirement: The loop function overwrites old recordings and thus ensures data protection compliance.

ALWAYS ENOUGH MEMORY – EVEN IN PRECARIOUS SITUATIONS

Thanks to the loop function, you always have the most recent video recording on your dashcam: Old recordings are automatically overwritten. You yourself can decide when it’s time to let go of the old – set the loop interval to 1, 2 or 3 minutes. This is sufficient to save a recording of an accident. However, you don’t want the fantastic mountain panorama to be overwritten by the palm-fringed coastal road. The solution: Simply use a microSD card with a capacity of up to 32 GB – the complete holiday feeling will then also fit on it. Incidentally, thanks to the li-ion battery, the dashcam will continue to run for a while without a power supply, for example, for short intervals in a traffic jam if you turn off the ignition.

NOTE – CAR BATTERY

With some vehicles, it can happen that power continues to be supplied even though the ignition has been switched off. In this case, switch off the camera manually to protect your car battery from discharge.
