Styrka designed their 8x32 S5-Series Binocular to give hunters a high-performance compact instrument that gives them the ability to scout the terrain and pick out game without being too bulky or cumbersome. Its 8x magnification provides users with a larger field of view and angle of view over higher-power binoculars, and the smaller 32mm objectives make them much more compact than larger objective models, so you can carry them all-day without them weighing you down. To help off-set the limited light gathering ability of the smaller objectives, Styrka fully multicoats the optics with their proprietary SXL anti-reflective coatings to increase image brightness, sharpness and contrast with true colour rendition. The BAK4 roof prisms are phase-corrected and dielectric coated to further improve image quality, contrast, and light transmission. This produces bright and clear high-contrast images not typical with binoculars of this size.

Complimenting their optical performance are construction details that make it an ideal companion in all weather and conditions. The housing is nitrogen filled to make them fog-proof with extreme changes in temperatures, and O-ring sealed to give them an IPX7 rating allowing them to be submerged to a depth of 3.3' for up to 30 minutes. Rugged armouring protects the binocular from drops and impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip - especially in cold and wet weather. A large center focusing wheel enables precise control even while wearing gloves, and tethered objective covers and ocular rain-guard ensure that you won't lose them in the field during use.
