The Fuji X100F in Black is the fourth-generation in the X-Series range of premium compact cameras, featuring a 24.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor with no low pass filter, a bright 23mm f/2 lens, Fuji’s Advanced Hybrid Viewfinder, and enhanced AF performance. Small yet powerful, the X100F delivers the highest level of image quality and mobility in the series, along with the design aesthetics and handling of a classic, retro camera.

The X100F features Fujifilm's 24.3MP X-Trans CMOS III APS-C sensor. Its highly random pixel array effectively reduces moiré and false colours without the use of an optical low-pass filter. The elimination of the low pass filter, which is attributed to loss of image resolution, makes it possible to draw out FUJINON lenses' true capabilities to the maximum extent. Coupled with the high-speed image processing engine X-Processor Pro, the X100F produces image quality comparable to that of cameras equipped with a larger sensor with higher pixel count.
Fujifilm's proprietary colour reproduction technology, developed through the producing photographic films, helps to reproduce warm skin tones, bright blue skies and rich green foliage in beautiful colours, just as you remember seeing in real life.
The Film Simulation function now features the ACROS mode. Using X-Processor Pro's advanced processing capability, the mode offers smooth gradation, deep blacks and beautiful textures to create monochrome images that far outperform the previous Monochrome mode.
The X100F also has the Grain Effect function for reproducing distinctive graininess seen in photographs taken with film cameras. The function is available in "Strong" and "Weak," and can be combined with any of the Film Simulation modes. You can easily obtain the effect of film-based photos, notable especially when the image is printed out.
Despite having the pixel count 1.5 times that of the X100T, the new device and its enhanced signal processing technology have successfully controlled digital noise even further. Improved ISO sensitivity means ISO12800, which was part of extended ISOs in the X100T, is now available as a regular ISO option. Even at ultra-high ISO settings, the camera produces low-noise images, reproducing deep blacks and smooth gradation of tones, capturing beautiful images even in low light conditions.

Rich colors and subtle shades, and a beautiful bokeh and a well-defined sense of depth. When the photographer's inspiration is truly reflected in all these elements, photographs will become more than mere records - they will evolve into truly impressive works of art.
The Pentax K-1 Mark II has been created as the flagship model that will fulfill this goal. It features a new, advanced image-processing system to deliver the beautiful image quality which all photographers demand. It produces images that are rich in color and gradation, high in resolution, and superb in bokeh rendition.
The Pixel Shift Resolution System II - the PENTAX-original super-solution technology - now accommodates handheld photography. The AF system featuring a new algorithm assures high-precision focusing even with moving subjects.
While inheriting the Pentax K-1's development concept, the Pentax K-1 Mark II has advanced technologies to near perfection. When your creativity is in complete harmony with the camera, your photography will truly come alive.

6.4MP Full-frame CMOS Image Sensor
The Pentax K-1 Mark II features a 35mm-format full-frame CMOS image sensor with an AA (anti-aliasing) filter–free design to produce high-resolution images with approximately 36.4 effective megapixels. It also features a new accelerator unit, which optimizes the image data obtained by the full-frame image sensor before delivering it to the high-performance PRIME IV imaging engine. Because of this, the camera produces high-quality images with minimal noise, while retaining excellent resolution at all sensitivity levels, from normal to super-high sensitivities. Pentax has also drastically improved the camera’s noise-reduction performance at a high-sensitivity range — up to ISO 819200 — to expand creative possibilities in super-high-sensitivity shooting.

Pixel Shift Resolution System II
features the Pixel Shift Resolution System II, which obtains RGB colour data for each pixel to produce super-high-resolution images with finer details and more truthful colours than those produced by ordinary full-frame sensors. In the new Dynamic Pixel Shift Resolution mode, which can be used during handheld shooting, this system can be used jointly with the camera’s shake-reduction mechanism, since it synthesizes the captured super-high-resolution images by detecting the slight fluctuations of the subject’s position during continuous shooting. The camera also provides ON/OFF switching of the Motion Correction function, which detects moving elements of the continuously captured images to minimize the effect of movement during the image synthesizing process.

High-performance five-axis, five-step SR II system
The Pentax K-1 Mark II comes equipped with the Pentax-developed SR II (Shake Reduction II) five-axis mechanism, which provides accurate control of the large full-frame image sensor with all compatible PENTAX interchangeable lenses. In addition to camera shake caused by pitch and yaw, this advanced system also compensates for camera shake caused by horizontal and vertical shift (often generated in macro photography) and camera shake caused by roll, which is difficult for lens-installed shake reduction mechanisms to handle. It has a compensation range up to five shutter steps (measured in conformity with CIPA standards, using the HD PENTAX-D FA 28-105mm F3.5-5, 6ED DC WR at a 105mm focal length). When taking a panning shot, this system automatically detects the direction of the camera’s movement, and efficiently controls the SR unit to produce the best image possible without requiring any mode switching operation.

Innovative AA filter simulator
By applying microscopic vibrations to the image sensor unit at the sub-pixel level during image exposure, the camera’s anti-aliasing (AA) filter simulator provides the same level of moiré reduction as an optical AA filter. Unlike an optical filter, which always creates the identical result, this innovative simulator not only lets the user switch the AA filter effect on and off, but also adjust the level of the effect. This means that the ideal effect can be set for a particular scene or subject based on given photographic conditions.

Flexible tilt-type LCD monitor
The K-1 Mark II features a flexible tilt-type LCD monitor, which can be tilted to the desired angle horizontally, vertically or diagonally with a single action, without deviating from the lens’s optical axis. The user can not only tilt it approximately 35 degrees horizontally and approximately 44 degrees vertically, but also pull it out from its base to view the on-screen image from above for waist-level photography. This large, 3.2-inch LCD monitor has approximately 1,037,000 dots and a 3:2 aspect ratio, and provides a protective tempered-glass front panel for added durability. In addition to its wide-view design, it also features a unique air-gapless construction, in which the air space between LCD layers is eliminated to effectively reduce the reflection and dispersion of light for improved visibility during outdoor shooting. Its outdoor monitor function, which allows instant adjustment of the monitor’s brightness to the desired level, has also been improved to provide greater visibility in dark locations. Its red-lit monitor display function facilitates monitor viewing when the photographer’s eyes have become accustomed to a dark location during night-time photography.

Easy-to-focus optical viewfinder
Optimized for a 35mm full-frame digital SLR design, the camera’s optical viewfinder provides a nearly 100-percent field of view and an approximately 0.7-times magnification. Thanks to the combination of a condenser lens and aspherical lens, it provides a wide field of view and a clear, undistorted image of the subject. It comes with a Natural Bright Matt III focusing screen, acclaimed for ease of focusing during manual-focus operation, and true-to-life rendition of defocused areas in the viewfinder image. In addition, its transparent viewfinder display makes it possible to superimpose a wide range of photographic data over the viewfinder image.

SAFOX 12 with 33 sensor points and full-frame-proportioned AF frame
Thanks to the SAFOX 12 AF sensor module with 33 AF sensors (25 cross-type sensors positioned in the middle), the Pentax K-1 Mark II optimizes the autofocus process, and assures high-speed autofocus operation in the AF.S (AF Single) mode. The center sensor and two sensors located just above and below it are designed to detect the light flux of an F2.8 lens, making it easy to obtain pinpoint focus on a subject when using a large-aperture lens. Its AF Tracking algorithm has also been revised to improve tracking accuracy of fast-moving subjects in the AF.C (AF Continuous) mode.

Pentax Real-Time Scene Analysis System
By combining an approximately 86,000-pixel RGB metering sensor with the high-performance PRIME IV imaging engine, the Pentax K-1 Mark II’s advanced Pentax Real-Time Scene Analysis System performs real-time analysis of the brightness distribution over the image field and the subject’s colours and movement. Based on this data, it then measures the subject’s lighting conditions with great accuracy and optimizes the exposure. By adopting a breakthrough artificial intelligence technology, deep learning, to its algorithm, it assesses each individual scene more accurately, and optimizes the exposure settings for a given scene or composition.

Compact, solid body with dustproof, weather-resistant construction
The camera’s bottom panel and front and back frames are all made of sturdy yet lightweight magnesium alloy. Although the camera features a dependable, durable shutter unit that can withstand 300,000 shutter releases (measured under actual shooting conditions) for professional use, its body has been downsized to the minimum possible, thanks to the incorporation of a unique floating mirror structure. With the inclusion of 87 sealing parts in the body, the camera also boasts a dustproof, weather-resistant and cold-resistant construction, assuring solid operation at temperatures as low as -10°C.

Full HD movie recording
The Pentax K-1 Mark II captures Full HD movie clips (1920 x 1080 pixels; 60i/30p frame rate) in the H.264 recording format, and comes equipped with a stereo mic terminal for external microphone connection, and a headphone terminal. The user can also adjust the audio recording level manually, monitor sound pressure levels during microphone recording, and cut down wind noise using a new wind-noise reduction mode. In addition to a host of distinctive visual effects for movie recording,* the camera also provides the interval movie mode, which captures a series of 4K-resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) movie clips at a fixed interval.

Built-in GPS module
Thanks to its built-in GPS module, the Pentax K-1 Mark II provides a variety of advanced GPS functions, including the recording of location, latitude, longitude, altitude and UTC (Universal Time Coordinated) and direction at the time of shooting. The user can easily access images containing GPS data using a computer, to browse them, check on shooting locations and position data on the screen, or save them. The camera also provides a set of other unique tools, including: Electronic Compass, which displays the camera's direction on its LCD monitor; GPS log, which keeps track of the photographer's movement; and ASTRO TRACER, which simplifies the tracing and photographing of celestial bodies by coupling GPS data with the camera's SR mechanism.

High-resolution, fine-gradation images supported by approximately 36.4 effective megapixels
The K-1 incorporates a newly developed 35 mm format full-frame CMOS image sensor - the first time in a PENTAX K-mount digital SLR camera. It also features an AA (anti-aliasing) filter–free design that puts priority on image resolution. Coupled with a high-speed image processing system and the newly designed PRIME IV imaging engine, capable of 14-bit RAW-format image recording, it optimizes the resolving power of approximately 36.4 effective megapixels to deliver super-high-resolution, fine-gradation images. It also allows for super-high-sensitivity shooting up to ISO 204800, and produces beautiful, high-resolution images over the entire sensitivity range - from the lowest sensitivity to the highest - while effectively minimizing annoying noise at all sensitivity levels.

New-generation SR II five-axis system
- In-body SR mechanism to assure optimal shake reduction performance with all compatible lenses: The K-1 comes equipped with the PENTAX-developed SR II (Shake Reduction II) five-axis mechanism that enables accurate control of the large full-frame image sensor with all compatible PENTAX interchangeable lenses.* In addition to camera shake caused by pitch and yaw, this new system is also designed to effectively compensate for camera shake caused by horizontal and vertical shift (often generated in macro photography) and camera shake caused by roll, which is difficult to deal with by lens-installed shake reduction mechanisms. It has a compensation range of as much as five shutter steps - the widest of all PENTAX digital SLR models - to expand the limits of handheld shooting. Even when taking a panning shot, this system automatically detects the direction of the camera’s movement, and efficiently controls the SR unit to always produce the best image possible without requiring any mode switching operation.

Pixel Shift Resolution System with a new motion correction function
The K-1 features Pixel Shift Resolution System,** the latest super-resolution technology, which captures four images of the same scene by shifting the image sensor by a single pixel for each image, then synthesizes them into a single composite image. Compared to the conventional Bayer system, in which each pixel has only a single colour data unit, this innovative system obtains all colour data in each pixel to deliver super-high-resolution images with far more truthful colours and much finer details than those produced by conventional full-frame image sensors. This system even provides a new motion correction function,*** which automatically detects a moving object during continuous shooting and minimizes negative effects during the synthesizing process, in order to accommodate a wider range of scenes and subjects.

Innovative AA filter simulator to minimize moiré
By applying microscopic vibrations to the image sensor unit at the sub-pixel level during image exposure, the K-1's AA (anti-aliasing) filter simulator**** provides the same level of moiré reduction as an optical AA filter. Unlike an optical filter, which always creates the identical result, this innovative simulator lets the user not only switch the AA filter effect on and off, but also to adjust the level of the effect. This means that the ideal effect can be set for a particular scene or subject based on given photographic conditions.

Supportive shooting functions
Since the K-1’s SR unit has a flexible design that tilts the image sensor unit in all directions, it provides a host of handy shooting functions, including auto level compensation, image-composition fine-adjustment, and ASTRO TRACER, which simplifies advanced astronomical photography using a built-in GPS module.

Flexible tilt-type LCD monitor to accommodate various shooting angles
On its back panel, the K-1 features a newly designed, flexible tilt-type LCD monitor, which can be tilted to the desired angle horizontally, vertically or diagonally with a single action, without deviating from the lens’s optical axis. A new Outdoor View Setting mode allows the user to instantly choose the desired monitor brightness level with a single push of a button.

Newly developed SAFOX 12 with 33 sensor points and full-frame-proportioned AF frame
The K-1 features a newly developed SAFOX 12 AF sensor module with an expanded AF frame covering the full-frame image field with 33 AF sensors (25 cross-type sensors positioned in the middle). The centre sensor and the two sensors located just above and below it are designed to detect the light flux of an F2.8 lens, making it easy to obtain pinpoint focus on a subject when using a large-aperture lens. Working together with the advanced PENTAX Real-Time Scene Analysis System, this AF system assures much improved AF tracking performance when photographing fast-moving subjects.

Upgraded PENTAX Real-Time Scene Analysis System, with application of artificial intelligence technology
By combining an approximately 86,000-pixel RGB metering sensor with the new PRIME IV imaging engine, the K-1’s advanced PENTAX Real-Time Scene Analysis System performs real-time analysis of the brightness distribution over the image field and the subject’s colours and movement. Based on this data, it then measures the subject’s lighting conditions with great accuracy and optimizes the exposure. In addition, by adopting a breakthrough artificial intelligence technology called deep learning to its algorithm,* it assesses each individual scene more accurately, and optimizes the exposure settings for a given scene or composition. * Effective when the AUTO exposure mode is set to Scene Analyze Auto and the Custom Image mode is set to Auto Select.

Easy-to-focus optical viewfinder with nearly 100-percent field of view
Newly developed for its 35 mm full-frame design, the K-1’s optical viewfinder provides a nearly 100-percent field of view and an approximately 0.7-times magnification. It comes with a Natural Bright Matt III focusing screen, which is acclaimed for ease of focusing during manual-focus operation and a true-to-life rendition of defocused areas in the viewfinder image. In addition, its transparent viewfinder display makes it possible to superimpose a wide range of photographic data over the viewfinder image.

High-speed continuous shooting with a top speed of approximately 4.4 images per second
The K-1 has a larger shutter unit, which is newly designed to accommodate the camera’s full-frame image sensor. It also incorporates a range of new mechanisms to provide high-speed, high-accuracy control of the mirror unit, including a damper mechanism that effectively minimizes mirror shock. A high-speed data transmission system incorporated in the PRIME IV imaging engine allows the user to continuously record as many as 17 images in the RAW format (or a maximum of 70 images in the JPEG Best format) in a single sequence, at a top speed of approximately 4.4 images per second.

Leveraging the light absorption characteristics of silicon, the sensor comprises three layers of photodiodes, each at a different depth within the silicon and each corresponding to a different RGB color. Since it is the only sensor to use this superior vertical color separation technology, it is also the world’s only direct image sensor. The Foveon direct image sensor captures color vertically, recording hue, value, and chroma accurately and completely for each pixel, enabling the expression of rich gradation and tone. Moreover, there is no low-pass filter needed to correct the interference caused by a color filter array, unlike the data from other sensors, which requires artificial interpolation to “fill in” missing colors. The data from the Foveon direct image sensor is complete with light and color information for every single pixel.

Newly developed Foveon X3 Quattro direct image sensor

The SIGMA dp1 Quattro incorporates a newly developed Foveon X3 direct image sensor (generation name: “Quattro”). The new sensor structure features a pixel ratio of 1:1:4 from the bottom, middle to top layer. The Foveon X3 Quattro direct image sensor is able to detect a broad range of light wavelengths. While the top layer captures both brightness and color information, the middle and bottom layers with their larger surface area capture color information only. During the image data processing stage, the brightness data captured in the top layer is applied to the top, middle, and bottom layers, resulting in brightness and color data for each individual pixel. Retaining the principle of the three-layer structure where colors are divided vertically, by applying the brightness data captured in the top layer to the layers below, high resolution and high-speed for broad data processing required are achieved.

Equivalent to 39 megapixel high resolution

A conventional color sensor captures resolution information through green megapixels, which means the information it can contain is only 50% of the whole pixels. On the other hand, the new Quattro sensor captures resolution information with the whole top layer. It holds twice as much resolution compared to conventional color sensors. 19.6 megapixel resolution information of the top layer achieves high resolution equivalent to 39 megapixels.

TRUE III image processing engine

The new dp series cameras feature the newly developed TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine) III. This image processing engine has evolved in pace with our Foveon direct image sensor and incorporates all of the image processing expertise we have developed over the years. Thanks to new refinements, it is the ideal engine for processing the rich and complex image data produced by the new-generation Foveon X3 Quattro direct image sensor. Our proprietary algorithm makes possible ultrafast processing of an immense volume of image data without any deterioration of the final images. The result is high-definition, 3D-like photographs with outstandingly rich color detail.

High performance 19mm F2.8 lens

Based on our rigorous examination of lens options to match the new Foveon X3 Quattro direct image sensor, we’ve incorporated 19mm F2.8 (equivalent to a 28mm lens on a 35mm SLR) that has a FLD (“F” Low Dispersion) glass, which is equivalent to fluorite in its characteristics, and two glass mold aspherical lenses so as to minimize every type of optical aberration. The superior telecentric optical design improves image quality throughout the frame and maximizes the sensor’s ability by passing on information about subjects to the sensor.

Magnesium Body

A solid and lightweight magnesium alloy is incorporated to the part of exterior. With rigidity and strength, the body is highly reliable and superior as a tool for photography..

Quick Set Menu

This option allows the camera to adjust white balance while valuing the color and atmosphere of light source. 10 options are available and it is also possible to adjust white balance based on the image incorporated, and to set the amount of color temperature (Kelvin). Moreover, each white balance mode can be fine-tuned, enabling detailed correction of white balance and creative work with a filter effect.

More preset Color Mode options

Color Mode can adjust rendering and contrast to best suit each photography scene. With the SIGMA dp1 Quattro, 4 preset Color Modes are added including “Cinema”, which reduces saturation and emphasizes shadows to recreate an image like in a cinema and “Sunset Red” which emphasizes red color rendering, and expresses the scenes, such as sunsets, more impressively. True artistic expression has become easier than ever.

Advanced Monochrome options

With Filtering Effect contrast can be changed as if the images are taken using a color filter for black and white photography, and with Toning Effect color tones can be adjusted according to preferences such as WARM, COLD and SEPIA, so that photographers can create more impressive image of subjects.

Overexposure Correction

Blown-out highlights caused by overexposure can be corrected, based on the gradation information obtained through the arrangement of pixels on the sensor, to minimize loss of detail. In addition, by utilizing that gradation information, it is possible to expand the dynamic range while processing RAW files.

ISO sensitivity can be set from ISO 100 to ISO 6400. By setting the range to 1/3 EV steps from the default 1 EV steps, it is possible to set the sensitivity to ISO 125 or ISO 160. The world’s only image capture system to use vertical color separation technology

The SIGMA dp2 Quattro incorporates a newly developed Foveon X3 direct image sensor (generation name: “Quattro”).

High performance 30mm F2.8 lens

Based on our rigorous examination of lens options to match the new Foveon X3 Quattro direct image sensor, we’ve retained the same lens specification as in the DP2 Merrill; 30mm F2.8 (equivalent to a 45mm lens on a 35mm SLR). Building on the well-received approach we took with the previous-generation DP2 Merrill camera, we’ve incorporated a glass mold aspherical lens and three high refractive index glass elements so as to minimize every type of optical aberration. Extremely sharp and stable in performance, this camera gives you the power to capture even tiny subjects with high precision. Its image plane characteristics are also outstanding, featuring a consistently crisp focus and a smooth, natural gradation to the out-of-focus areas of the image.

Magnesium Body

A solid and lightweight magnesium alloy is incorporated to the part of exterior. With rigidity and strength, the body is highly reliable and superior as a tool for photography.
